About us
Standort Niederrhein GmbH was founded in December 1995.
It is now a joint venture of the two independent cities of Krefeld and Mönchengladbach, the District of Kleve, District of Viersen, District of Wesel and the Rhein-Kreis Neuss aswell as the IHK Mittlerer Niederrhein.
Standort Niederrhein GmbH is the first stop for companies and investors who are interested in the Niederrhein Region.
The tasks of Standort Niederrhein GmbH include national and international location marketing for the Niederrhein Region, theme-oriented networking and sponsorship of the Regionalagentur Mittlerer Niederrhein.
Our company is the first touchpoint for investors and businesses interested in theNiederrhein Region and, in close cooperation with the municipal business development agencies, provides support in the search for suitable locations. In addition, it continuously prepares investor-relevant information regarding the region, for example in the Real Estate Guide or Market Report.
The Niederrhein Region is located in the heart of Europe, in the very west of Germany and North Rhine-Westphalia. The decisive factor for the central location of the Niederrhein Region is its immediate proximity to the gates of the world markets, the state capital Düsseldorf, the Ruhr region, the neighboring Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. The cities of Krefeld and Mönchengladbach as well as the districts of Kleve, Viersen, Wesel and Rhein-Kreis Neuss characterize the Niederrhein Region, this important economic area west to the Rhine.
Important aspects of location marketing include presentations in the form of regional joint stands at major trade fairs and specialist events, such as Expo Real and transport logistic in Munich and the polis Convention in Düsseldorf.
In addition to hard location criteria, soft factors are also playing an increasingly important role in regional development. Standort Niederrhein GmbH is therefore one of nine regional management companies in North Rhine-Westphalia and is involved in the regionen.NRW association for the further development of the state and its sub-regions.
